- Integrationskurse (integration courses) offered by institutions like the VHS (adult education centre) or Kolping for accepted refugees, aiming at enabling you to work in Germany
- language courses for students, aiming at enabling you to study in German(y)

Integration courses at the language school pdl in Dortmund
The integration courses for migrants offered by the language school “projekt deutsch lernen” (pdl) in Dortmund are certified by the BAMF, so you can ask the jobcenter to cover its costs. You should have in mind though that the jobcenter might not pay for the public transport ticket needed to get to Dortmund from Castrop. (If you have news on that matter, please let us know by writing to email@example.com.)
Integration courses at the Berlitz language school in Dortmund
The integration courses offered by the well-known language school Berlitz are certified by the BAMF. If you already have an acceptance as a refugee, the course fee can be paid for by the BAMF. If your asylum process is still pending, you should talk to the BAMF in Nürnberg to find out if they cover the costs. If you live in Castrop and want to attend an Integrationskurs in Dortmund (or Bochum or Essen), the jobcenter will probably not pay for the public transport ticket to commute to the course, you should ask the jobcenter employee who is responsible for you.
